Globalbasic.com "Answers" is a community that allow visitors to ask and answer questions about computers, internet and websites. This community give those who have the knowledge in these areas a chance to share what they know and possibly pick up new business. It also gives experts the opportunity to gain additional knowledge in their field of expertise or learn something new. We put in place some guidelines so that everyone who participates will not only have a chance to learn but to also be respected.

These are a list of things that are prohibited:

Affiliate links of any kind are prohibited.

Spam is considered as promoting something through answering and asking questions. So spamming is considered as vandalizing the site.

Do not promote your business or self promote in questions or answers. This is reserved for your profile page.

Giving false or misleading information.

Venting, single-mindedly debating and being furious.

Expressing personal disappointments.

Participating in heated arguments or debates.

Do not incite a flame war.

There will be no tolerance for ranting.

Do not force your beliefs and opinions on others or preaching in a hostile way.

Harassing and cyber bullying are prohibited.

Threatening a minor or individual willfully is prohibited in addition to impersonating a government official, celebrity or dignitary. There will be no tolerance for such actions.

Sexual content in any form and posting any information for sexual advancement is strictly prohibited. This information will not be tolerated and will be reported to authorities.

Refrain from insults, vulgar language, obscenities.

Do not post any personal information such as names, addresses or references of you or others in no manner. Read our Terms of Use.

Do not ask questions or post any information on pirating software, planning illegal activities, giving serial numbers of products that you have a registered license, creating computer viruses, counterfeiting money or building a bomb. There will be no tolerance and such actions will be reported to Law Enforcement.

Posting any information that could hurt others or performing in maliciously activities will not tolerated.

Please adhere to all federal, state and local laws when asking and answering questions.

Blanking is not permitted.

Do not add malicious links. Links to other s sites and resources in order to help those who are asking questions are permitted.
